There are tons of movies which we just can’t get enough and would like to watch all over again, me being one of those, so being a movie buff, I have decided to list some movies which deserve to have part two’s or sequels or whatever you might want to call it.
Folks at IBeatYou.com featured a competition on the movies that should have remakes and so here they are:
1. The hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy
This was a radio series in the late 70’s and was then adapted to a novel and then to the movies. This is a geek’s movie favorite and the special effects were just appropriate and wasn’t overdone. The story isn’t like what your typical extra-terrestrial movie.
2. Superbad
This is a wittingly funny movie written by Seth Rogen with Evan Goldberg which was a good 10 years in black and white before it was finally filmed. Why a remake, well, we need more Judd Apatow productions.
3. Forrest Gump
We need more wisdoms from this modest and loving guy. He may not be wise, but then, he always seem to be at the right place at the right time to draw life lessons. And hey. it’s one of the few movies where the lead actor isn’t drop dead gorgeous but you’ll fall in love with more. And it’s an Oscar winner.
4. Wedding crashers
This is just so hilarious and I for one,would like to know if they will still gatecrash even if they have seemingly gotten settled.
